Understanding MOQ, Sampling and Production Lead Time

Three numbers matter most when planning a bag project: the minimum order quantity, the sampling lead time and the production lead time. Understanding how they relate helps you plan a realistic timeline and budget.

MOQ — the minimum order quantity — is typically 500 to 1,000 pieces per style in our production, depending on materials and components. Certain fabrics, hardware or custom trims can raise the practical minimum, which is why we discuss MOQ alongside material selection.

Sampling typically takes two to four weeks depending on complexity. This covers sourcing materials, developing the pattern and producing a reviewable sample. Production then takes approximately 90 days after sample approval.
