How Custom Branding Works on Bags

Branding turns a generic bag into your product. Bags offer many surfaces and methods for branding, each with different costs, lead times and effects, so the choice depends on your logo, your quantities and the look you want.

Woven and printed labels are the most common option — affordable, durable and easy to reproduce in small areas. Embroidery adds a premium, textured finish and works especially well on backpacks and canvas. Heat-transfer and screen printing suit larger graphics, while silicone and rubber patches create a distinctive three-dimensional logo.

Hardware can also be branded — custom zipper pulls, buckles and debossed logos add subtle, high-value detail. Packaging, from hangtags to polybags and boxes, is part of the same branding system.

We recommend finalising branding artwork early, as custom labels, patches and hardware often require their own production lead time alongside the bag itself.
